Psychotherapeutic Reiki
Christen Rinaldi (LCMHCA, RMT) discusses the fusion of clinical mental health practice and Reiki, including the specific benefits for adding Reiki to the list of validated somatic approaches to wellness. She is a long-time Reiki practitioner and, more recently, entrepreneur of her own counseling and wellness business, Insight Owl.
As a current student of clinical mental health counseling, Will is interested in the strategies used by professionals like Chris to advocate for Reiki within therapeutic environments that have, until relatively recently, been slow to take up spiritual and energetic practices.
Chris is Will’s Reiki teacher. Both live and work in Asheville, NC.
