During this online 6-week course, we will delve into the social, embodied, and ecological dimensions of grief while we challenge constructed narratives and conventions of grief and grieving. We will also be joined by guest participants to help further broaden and deepen our understandings.

The course will be alternately facilitated by us, Will Daddario, PhD and Joanne Zerdy, PhD - active grievers, educators, arts & humanities scholars, creative thinkers, published authors, and grief workers.

Oct 15 - Approaching Grief as a Radically Social Phenomenon

Oct 22 - The Ecosystem of Grief: Seen and Unseen Forces and Alliances

Oct 27 - Embodied Grief: Where and How do we Carry it?

Nov 5 - Griefwork for/within/in Communities

Participants who attend all sessions (and/or make up missed meetings) will receive a Certificate of Completion for the course.
