A Conversation about Grief with Megan Devine & Will Daddario

Megan Devine, author of It's Okay that You're Not Okay: Meeting Grief and Loss in a Culture That Doesn't Understand (Sounds True, 2017), and Inviting Abundance's Will Daddario, author of To Grieve (Ugly Duckling, 2017) will discuss topics related to grief, loss, and healing.

This conversation seems especially timely with the approaching holidays & the myriad emotions and expectations that can accompany them for those of us who are grieving.

We'd love to meet more of our Asheville community, so please consider joining us at this event and/or spreading the word to folks in the area! Thank you!

This event is free.

Creative Grief Workshop

Creative Grief Workshop

We are very excited to be holding our first Creative Grief Workshop! This workshop is intended for both grievers and for those who support the bereaved in professional or personal capacities.

Our work together will include reading and responding to written passages, mapping exercises, journaling, and embodied activities. We will be doing work on our own, with partners, and in small groups. Additionally, we will sample some herbal tea made with botanical allies well known for their ability to help us move through grief and to strengthen our hearts.

We hope that you will leave our workshop with new ideas for thinking and feeling your way through your grief journey or for helping others process their experiences. And we hope that you will feel more connected to the community of grievers in and around Asheville.

Workshop Price: $50-75 (Sliding Scale)
