While we each grieve for our individual losses, traumas, challenging transitions, and deaths of various kinds, we are also experiencing waves of collective grief. Whether it is the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, racial and social injustice, gun violence, or the climate crisis (among other events), we are navigating complex emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual terrains.
We recognize that processing this Grief — and the various experiences that shape it — can feel incredibly exhausting and isolating. Thus, we have adapted and expanded our in-person Creative Grief Workshop to provide an opportunity for you to engage with your Grief in creative, empowering, and, we hope, healing ways. We believe that this approach to grief work can benefit both those who are actively grieving and those who wish to support the bereaved. **This event is Trans Inclusive
In a small group capped at 10 participants, we will explore Creative Approaches to Grief. This workshop includes 4 online gatherings on Sundays, May 7, 14, 21, & 28 from 1-3pm EDT via Zoom. The sessions will be facilitated alternately by Will Daddario, PhD and Joanne Zerdy, PhD.

Ahead of each virtual gathering, we provide you with weekly assignment prompts that invite you to engage with your grief through different modalities:
language/writing
mapping/zoning
body awareness/embodied thinking
designing rituals
During the month-long Workshop, you receive:
short readings, creative prompts, and detailed assignments
compassionate responses and unlimited email access to us during the month
an optional video or phone chat with one of us for additional brainstorming and processing
a list of additional resources and references for further reading, thinking, and creating after our workshop concludes
