Are you grieving the death of a loved one? Your own or a loved one's chronic illness? Your own or your partner's pregnancy loss? The end of a friendship or romantic relationship? The loss of your home or job? ... These losses may have occurred last week or decades ago, and yet you carry your past experiences with you as you face each day.

You may already be actively processing your grief or you may not have even considered your loss, disappointment, or pain to be grief. But if you have found this workshop, our guess is that you are looking for an(other) active way to think and feel through this experience. And we believe that by actively, openly, and heartfully processing this experience, you not only help yourself to heal but you also become a model of healing for those in your life.

In this Grief Mapping Workshop, we will present creative ways for you to visualize, encounter, and embody your grief that allow you to see and feel your experience from different perspectives. By taking up the roles of map-maker and of traveler, you will tap into your imaginative, artistic, and intuitive knowing as you chart your own course for the days ahead.

Will Daddario & Joanne Zerdy will co-facilitate this small-group workshop. Drawing from our experience as active grieving parents and as performing arts educators and researchers, we will work with you to generate a supportive space that will allow you to explore the dimensions and contours of your grief and to identify the resources you need for the next leg of your journey.
